Gene Kranz Oral History Interview

Gene Kranz had a prolific career as a NASA flight and mission operations director. As lead flight director of the Apollo 13 mission, he played a significant role in guiding three astronauts back to Earth after an explosion on that spacecraft. This oral history interview was conducted in 1999 for NASA’s Johnson Space Center.

AHTV: Maynard Cooke Horiuchi Oral History Interview Maynard Cooke Horiuchi’s father was a navy captain stationed at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked on December 7, 1941. In this oral history for "Densho: The Japanese American Legacy Project," she recalls how she came to marry Lucius Horiuchi, a Japanese-American foreign service officer whose family had been forcibly relocated to an internment camp at the outset of World War II.
